Snow

ISO: 100
Aperture: F 6.3
Shutter Speed: 1/100
This project was for the Winter Wonderland photo. I used my Nikon D 3100, and a tripod. This is the river bellow my house, after it had snowed. When I uploaded this photo to the computer, I didn't have to do many edits, the main thing I did was crop the photo down to bring the main focus onto the subject of winter. I enjoyed taking this photo, because the lighting was very calm, and easy to work with. It was nice that I didn't have to edit the photo very much to get the desired picture.

ISO: 640
Aperture: F 8.0
Shutter Speed: 1/1600
This is my White Balance collage. I used my Nikon D 3100,  and a tripod. This was just some snow that had been shoveled to the side of the road, and I thought it had a lot of good texture. If I could change something about my shot it would be the focus of the whole shot. I didn't enjoy taking this shot, because I was at a horrible angle.

ISO: 360
Aperture: F 4.5
Shutter Speed: 10.0
This photo is my Light Painting shot. I used my Nikon D 3100, a tripod, and a color flashlight app on my iPhone. I used a timer of 10 seconds, and a long shutter speed of 10 seconds as well, to make sure  I caught the color. I took this shot on a construction road at about 9 PM in the 11 degree weather. When I brought it into Photoshop I darkened the background, to make the color the main point of the photo.  If I could change something about this shot, it would be the range of the road that you can see, by adjusting the camera. I enjoyed doing this shot, because I love doing light painting.

Journal Two

ISO: 3600
Aperture: F 4.2
Shutter Speed: 1/20

This is a photo of my cat Cosmo. I took this photo because he was posing for me. I love the color, and side profile that I captured. I was using my D3100, and a tripod. If I could change one thing about the photo it would be the background to make it less distracting. I could have also captured his whole body.

Journal One

This photo is based on one of my best shots.
I do not have the camera settings, because I was using my phone
I took this photo when I was playing poker with my family.
I use my Iphone 4s, and had the flash on.
I edited the photo to create the darker background, and brighter colors.
Something I would change about this photo is the surface it is sitting on.
I would have preferred to have a black surface underneath.
